09/03/08 - Button Mashers Episode 008: Button Mashers Melee.
Hi everyone. Sorry this is late, it seems Murphy is an equal opportunity podcast hater. Its been a while since we did one of these, but they may become a staple for major releases; we'll see. Brian, Nick and I decided to give Melee a proper send off, so here it is in all its spoilerific glory. Also, I apologize in advance for the weird format; there were a few extras that I wanted to slip in, which I did, but it let to some strange pacing stuff.

Episode 7 is all about the most racist little DS title I've ever seen. It clocks in at 15.1 megs and 16 and a half minutes. Now, those of you who've heard my show before will notice how paltry that is compared to what I usually produce. Well, the real world happened, and for a while it looked like the show was going to be mostly a digital soapbox of 10-15 minute sound bytes. But luckily, the blog came into existence (thank you Joshie) so I'll be able to use it mostly for quick shouts and as for the show? Well, let me know what you guys think of the shorter format, I'm not against keeping it and just using long shows for special occasions.

This show stars tetsuotrunks, CloudANDTidus and S.Roth, and we talk about Nintendo's potential negative impact on the entire industry. Due to some connection problems, there are random moments where the sound cuts out. It is obviously impossible for me to fix these, but there shouldn't be any spots where you can't figure out what was being said. The episode is a little over an hour, and is our largest show at over 60 Megs.
09/06/07 - Button Mashers Episode 005.
Episode 5 is all about milking and overusing characters and franchises. Its with me (tetsuotrunks) and S.Roth, and this one runs a tiny bit shorter than usual at 58:40. There may be one or 2 assorted quality issues, but I blame S.Roth for that one.
14/05/07 - Button Mashers Episode 004.
This episode features myself and Nick discussing various online aspects involved in gaming. As you may have guessed, this was recorded before the Virginia Tech episode, but I wanted to push stuff back for the obvious reasons. The sound levels may be a bit wonky in a few spots and I apologize for that.
07/05/07 - Button Mashers Episode 003.
So here it is again, Episode 3. Sorry I took it down last week, but I didn't want anything to overshadow the special episode. So here it is again. Look for my thoughts on the special episode soon, and I hope you guys enjoy this one.
30/04/07 - Button Mashers Special: Virginia Tech.
You might have noticed that Episode 3 is no longer up. You are correct, Episode 3 was posted and then pulled. If any of you were actually able to download it, feel free to hold onto it. It wasn't removed because something was wrong with it or anything. I removed it because I had something else that I felt was worth posting, and I didn't want anything to be overshadowed. I do have a few things I'd like to address, but first, I'd like this episode to speak for itself. Also, I would suggest you listen all the way to the end, the music is explained there.
07/04/07 - Button Mashers Episode 002.
Episode 2 explores the ideas of major cross-overs in the gaming world. Specifically, we discuss Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, and what that could mean for the future of both franchises and franchises in general. The episode runs 52:00, and weighs in at a hefty 47.6 Meg. Sorry, not too dial-up friendly. The co-hosts for this episode are Eric Nagler and Ryan Gallo. That's right, 3 people discussing a topic this time. Will this be something we see a lot? Yeah, probably.
31/03/07 - Button Mashers Episode 001.
Here it is, the inaugural episode of Button Mashers. A few quick disclaimers. First off, S.Roths's mic has issues, so his voice is substantially lower than mine. And the editing is a bit sloppy, which is normally something that I would never allow, but since the files decided to corrupt themselves shortly after we produced this file, our options were to either record an entire new show, or live with what we've got. In short, the quality of some parts of this show is in no way reflective of what we view as a final product, and all future posts will be more up to snuff. Other than that, hope you all enjoy it and feel free to leave some feedback.
